Chai Cart by PMH

September 2, 2010

If you live in San Francisco, better get in line this weekend. Pardon My Hindi introduced the latest food truck to the market last weekend. As new food trucks in New York City seem to pop up everyday like Belgian wafels by Wafels and Dinges, artisan ice cream by Van Leeuwen and the Rickshaw Dumpling Bar on wheels, now you can fulfill your Indian delicacy cravings with the Chai Cart by Pardon My Hindi.

The menu on Sunday consisted of hot chai tea, a pack of Parle-G biscuits and a cone of Chevro (fried lentils and chickpea flour) plus some chutney/cream cheese/cucumber tea sandwiches. The first 25 people got a numbered and branded mason jar souvenir filled with chai.

Look for Chirag and his Chai Cart next weekend in Dolores Park in San Francisco, tell him Quiet In The Back sent you! You never know what will be on the menu and maybe he’ll debut a new PMH t-shirt or poster that day. Check out all the goods online at the PMH store. Follow PMH on Twitter or like the Facebook page and you’ll get access to the signature “Friday Dance Time” videos; great break in the work day on a Friday.
